Fresh of the heels of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's release, fans of LEGO games are looking to what Traveller's Tales will create next. Some fans are hoping that it is a game following the events of the MCU, some want it to be a return to original stories like LEGO City Undercover, and some want it to be an entirely new franchise. Perhaps one of the most likely candidates for a LEGO game would be a return to Harry Potter and the Wizarding World.
Back in 2010, Traveller's Tales took a trip to the world of Harry Potter through two separate games. LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 kickstarted this adventure by adapting the first four Harry Potter films with the tried and true LEGO style. A year later, Traveller's Tales continued the Harry Potter adventures by adapting the final four films with LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7. Since then, loads of new Wizarding World content has expanded upon the story that has yet to receive any sort of LEGO adaptation. Warner Brothers just released the third Fantastic Beasts movie and wants to double down on Harry Potter content, and that leaves a lot of content just begging to be turned into LEGOs.
A LEGO MCU Game Would Probably Not Work
LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and Years 5-7 were very similar titles filled with the classic LEGO gameplay. Neither title had any voice acting as they came out well before Traveller's Tales added voice acting to the series with LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. Instead, the story was told with a series of grunts and visual gags that would have fans chuckling throughout.
