Before he was elected Ukraine’s president in 2019, Volodymyr Zelenskiy created, produced and starred in a political satire called “Servant of the People.”
The series, about a high school teacher who unexpectedly becomes Ukraine’s president after calling out corruption in the country, premiered on Netflix in 2015 and ran for three seasons.
It’s no longer on the streaming channel but can be viewed on YouTube, where some episodes have been watched more than 14 million times. It can be seen captioned in English here.

(ANI): Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch's production company SunnyMarch has been sued over the rights of a Roald Dahl script.
According to Variety, SunnyMarch, whose directors are Cumberbatch and his producing partner Adam Ackland, entered into a co-production agreement with Portobello Productions in November 2019 to make a film adaptation of Dahl's novel 'Danny the Champion of the World'.
The actor was also set to star in the film as Danny's father William, subject to his availability and approval of the script.
Portobello has alleged that after commissioning and paying 'One Day' writer David Nicholls to pen the first draft, they heard nothing further from Cumberbatch or Ackland, despite both men taking on numerous other projects.
The projects which are listed in the court filings, including 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' and 'The Power of the Dog', for which Cumberbatch could possibly win an Oscar next month.
As per the agreement, the two companies planned to hire a director to work with Nicholls to revise the script and, once approved, it would be sent out to film financiers and talent.
