By sending her away from Fal Dara in the season 1 finale, The Wheel of Time set up Min Farshaw’s future. Though she didn’t make her first appearance until the season’s penultimate episode, Kae Alexander’s Min is fated to play a significant role in the Dragon Reborn’s journey in Amazon’s Wheel of Time show. In Robert Jordan’s books, Min is a principal character and one of Rand al’Thor’s three main love interests.
In Wheel of Time, Min stands out as a character with special abilities that have no obvious connection to the One Power. Thanks to a gift that allows her to see “viewings” of a person’s destiny, Min is often sought out by people looking to benefit from her knowledge of the future. One such character was Moiraine (Rosamund Pike). In both the books and the show, Min was first introduced when Moiraine tried to get Min to help her identify the Dragon Reborn. Interestingly, one thing that the series changed about Min’s introduction was the time and the place that it happened. Min, who was originally located in the town of Baerlon, was moved to Fal Dara for the TV version.

Most may return now that the battle is over, but if the books are any indication, she’ll pop up somewhere else instead. In the books, the main characters’ second rendezvous with Min occurred in Tar Valon, the current location of Mat Cauthon (Barney Harris) in the show.
Given the direction of the series, it makes sense for Wheel of Time to bring Min to the headquarters
