To avoid confusion, the two Barbies go by the monikers «Malibu» and «Brooklyn.» As they fight for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in the Spotlight Solo from Times Square, the fast friends learn that competition isn't only about winning; it's also about wanting to be your best, inspiring others, overcoming fears, and sharing the spotlight.
