The Glaive is a fantastic and fun weapon to use in Warframe, but unfortunately, its best version, Prime, can be quite difficult to obtain. First released across multiple platforms in 2013, Warframe is a free-to-play online multiplayer shooter that has long supported cross-platform play. In the game, players control a race of ancient warriors called the Tenno, as they awake from a centuries-long slumber only to find themselves in the middle of a planetary war on future Earth. The players then use powered suits of armor called Warframes, as well as a variety of abilities and weapons to fight the Grineer, a race of militarized and degenerated human clones fused with machinery and robotics.
Among the many weapons that players can pick up to help them fight this threat are Glaives, a three-edged bladed weapon that can be thrown and detonated in mid-air. As a one-handed weapon, they can also be dual-wielded or paired with other similar weapons to create unique and synergetic combos. Unlike most weapons, the Glaive does not have a conventional heavy attack, as it instead is used to detonate the weapon in mid-air when it is thrown, causing a huge explosion that deals blast and impact damage.

Acquiring weapon blueprints, parts, and relics in Warframe can be done in a multitude of ways, as most avenues of play may result in the player looting some. They can be found in caches, be gifted as mission rewards, looted from enemies, or even traded with other players. However, when a weapon is vaulted, it is removed from the rotation of drops, and players can no longer obtain it through conventional gameplay.
