Call of Duty: Warzone has had numerous issues with vehicles ever since it was first released. Vehicles have caused various glitches in Call of Duty: Warzone and have also been used to devastating effect by some hackers. A new glitch found by players recently caused Raven Software to disable vehicles on Rebirth Island but, thankfully, they have now returned.
In late 2021, Call of Duty: Warzone hackers began to make ground vehicles fly by using cheats. The cheat would allow players to fly up into the air, lock onto an enemy player, and then drop with the vehicle from above to kill the unsuspecting player before launching back up into the air again. Fortunately, Call of Duty: Warzone's Ricochet anti-cheat system got rid of many cheaters making use of this hack, and it has not been an issue for quite some time now.

Vehicles were disabled in Call of Duty: Warzone this time around because players were using them to glitch into the Golden Vaults on Rebirth Island. Normally, in order for players to gain access to the Golden Vaults and the high-level loot inside them, they would need to complete a community challenge and collect a list of in-game items. This would give players the access codes to enter a Golden Vault. However, players found a way to subvert this and enter a Golden Vault without completing any of the above-mentioned steps.
Players were able to glitch into the Golden Vaults on Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone by getting a teammate to ram them with a vehicle while they stood in front of the door to the vault.
