Vanderpump Rules matriarch Lisa Vanderpump has broken her silence after falling off her horse last week by thanking everyone for their well-wishes. Lisa and her husband Ken Todd's affinity for animals has been well documented on Vanderpump Rules and its mother show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Besides founding Vanderpump Dogs, a pet adoption shelter, Lisa and Todd's Villa Rosa mansion is home to a variety of animals, including at least two swans who swim the waters in front of the home's doors. During RHOBH season 6, Lisa even gifted her husband two adorable miniature horses.
Details of Lisa's riding accident were first reported on January 30; the 61-year old, who has been riding the horse for 6 years, was thrown off the animal after he got spooked. With 8 to 10 weeks of recovery ahead of her after having plates and screws inserted, Ken told the media outlet that he was unsure if Lisa would ever ride a horse again, although the couple holds no ill-will towards the animal and still plans to keep him.

In her first Instagram post since the accident, Lisa showed off the countless bouquet of flowers she's received over the week. Addressing everyone who has reached out and wished her a quick recovery, Lisa wrote, «Thank you for all the well wishes and beautiful flowers, I am doing much better after surgery!» Explaining her injuries as «4 fractures in [her] leg and a badly bruised back,» the restauranteur assured fans that she was on the road to recovery and is looking forward to «be back on the saddle of life.» With Ken's previous comments in mind, Lisa's future horse-riding activities are still up in the air.
