Ubisoft has finally shed some light on what the future of Assassin's Creed will look like, and the long rumored Assassin's Creed Infinity is going to be a part of it. Fans of the franchise have a lot of titles in Ubisoft's flagship franchise to look forward to. They will be able to explore Baghdad in Assassin's Creed Mirage, finally embark on an adventure in Japan in Assassin's Creed Codename Red, and go on a spookier adventure in Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe. Along with those titles, players will be able to look forward to the future of Assassin's Creed with Infinity.
Assassin's Creed Infinity has long been rumored and is supposedly going to represent the future of the franchise, but Ubisoft has not been very clear on just what it is. Originally, rumors suggested that it was going to be a live-service title with multiple eras and serve as the platform for the franchise going forward. At the most recent Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft unveiled Codename Red and Codename Hexe, and then went on to say that those two games would be connected through Infinity. That has made many people wonder just what Infinity is supposed to be, and Ubisoft has not done much to further explain it.
