The first invasion in Two Point Campus can seem very cute. They usually wear hilarious outfits and come in the low-single-digit numbers. After a few years, there will be over a dozen, and removing them all feels nearly impossible. Meanwhile, they'll cause damage that takes months to fully recover from.

This is obviously not up to player discretion on every map, but there are a handful of locations that allow players to choose which course they want to take. When up to personal discretion, don't select courses such as Knight School, Academic Exercise, Dark Arts, or Archeology.

Invaders are directly tied to courses. School of Thought, for being a difficult course, has absolutely no invaders at all. If it can be helped, just don't select or upgrade courses that come with invaders. The best defense against invaders is total prevention.
It's already supremely important to select Janitors with the Rapid trait as it is the most important trait in the game for any staff member. They will have to be running around the campus more than any other position. This is critical already, doubly so for invaders.
Train Rapid Janitors up in both Security and Aerodynamics. Most of the battle is getting to the invaders, not just combating them. Once invaders are caught, Janitors automatically depose of them, so it's all about speed in getting to them before
