Turning Red Movie Releases Billie Eilish Single
In anticipation of Pixar's upcoming animated adventure, Turning Red, Disney has revealed a lyric video for the movie's nostalgia-inducing single, «Nobody Like U,»penned by Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS. Turning Red, set in early 2000s Toronto, follows 13-year-old Mei, who makes a startling ancestral discovery on the cusp of her adolescence. Much to Mei's dismay, she finds out that, under intense emotions, she turns into a giant red panda. The movie, which stars Rosalie Chiang as Mei and Killing Eve's Sandra Oh as Mei's mother, Ming, is directed by longtime Pixar animator and writer, Domee Shi, who most notably directed Pixar's Oscar-winning short, Bao.
Per the Disney Music Vevo YouTube page, Turning Red's new music icons, 4*Town, are teased with a lyric video for their song, «Nobody Like U.» Written by Eilish and her brother, the song drips with nostalgia, boasting the typical stylings and lyrical cooing reminiscent of the boy bands that became so prominent during the movie's early-2000 setting. The video compliments the song perfectly, with lyrics appearing on the pages of brightly colored kids magazines as sticker sheets and poster pull-outs litter the screen. Check out the video below:

While the tongue-in-cheek «Nobody Like U» likely won't be a chart-topper for the award-winning siblings, it wouldn't be the first time they've scored a hit with a movie soundtrack. Most notably, Eilish and her brother sounded out Daniel Craig's time as Bond with No Time To Die'snow-iconic theme song. Of course, it doesn't stop «Nobody Like U»from being great promo for the movie, but with early Turning Red reactions swinging
