Game Director at Creative Assembly Rich Aldridge recently updated players about a couple of planned expansions for Total War: Warhammer 3. The designer explained how the focus over the course of this past year has been to bring Immortal Empires into the best possible place, but also to pave the way for some future downloadable content. Aldridge gave no specific details about these expansions, but confirmed that one will be available at some point in April, 2023 and that two others will be released later this year.
Total War: Warhammer 3 received two expansions in 2022, Immortal Empires and Champions of Chaos. Players have been eagerly anticipating news about upcoming content, particularly after voice files were discovered suggesting the presence of Chaos Dwarfs.

"We knew that we needed to get Immortal Empires to you in the best possible state," Aldridge said in a video. “That's where we focused all of our efforts last year. Making sure that we've got a great foundation going forward through Immortal Empires, but also in patching Warhammer 3 itself and getting it to the state we need it to be to add new content and experiences later this year and beyond."
Players have so far been disappointed with the lack of news from Creative Assembly regarding its plans for Total War: Warhammer 3. Aldridge addressed this growing concern, explaining how the team working on the game wants to be as concrete as possible when it comes to announcements. The designer asked for patience and understanding, describing how the Warhammer 3 team has been working hard to produce more content for the game.
