Tony Hawk, legendary skater and star of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series of games, jumped on stage at a gig on Saturday to surprise his fans. The 900 is a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater cover band, and is honored to call themselves «the UK's first and only.» They are currently on tour throughout the UK performing songs from the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 to American Wasteland. While fans of the game routinely turn up to The 900's shows, Tony Hawk was one guest the fans didn't know was coming.
The 900 played at East London's Signature Bew on Saturday night, a pub and music venue in Haggerston. Signature Brew routinely hosts local UK bands like The 900, offering up pints and popular music. While the Signature Brew is used to giving its customers a good time, only The 900 knew that Tony Hawk was going to show up to sing along with the band that plays all his greatest hits.
