Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Erases Hours Of Game Progress
Players have discovered that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands occasionally erases hours of in-game progress without a way to recover lost save files. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands launched to generally favorable reviews last week, offering a fresh but familiar experience in the expansive Borderlands universe. That users have already begun to encounter save data-related woes hardly comes as a surprise, though, especially to anyone familiar with the lost progress issues that plagued 2019's Borderlands 3 release.
Developer Gearbox Software and publisher Take-Two Interactive announced Tiny Tina's Wonderlands as a fantasy-centric Borderlands spinoff during the Geoff Keighley-hosted Summer Game Fest 2021. Notably, the adventure places a Dungeons & Dragons spin on the whimsy and over-the-top action of Borderlands, an idea that follows in the footsteps of Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep expansion — which later launched as a standalone game. And while it seems many players have gotten nothing but enjoyment out of the latest Tiny Tina-starring adventure, plenty of other users regularly run into errors that impede core game progress.

As noted by Forbes' Paul Tassi, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms have reported losing hours of game progress for no discernable reason. Tassi himself noticed the issue after booting up the game and finding his character at level 16 instead of the level 22 build he'd ended on during the last session.
