In the very first issue of the Maraudersrelaunch in Marvel Comics, Kate Prydeis shown being unable to use the Krakoan portals, portals made specifically for mutants to use, and that great mystery as to why Kate Pryde can’t use them still hasn’t been solved by the X-Men yet. Maraudersis on the cusp of getting an all-new creative team, but not before the old one potentially addresses the greatest mystery that has yet to be solved. In a preview for the new Maraudersbook, that mystery is addressed and could be the final act of the original writer and artists before they leave the series.
While a new creative team behind Marauderscomic series will take over on March 30 with writer Steve Orlando and artist Eleonora Carlini, the original team still have a few loose ends to tie up. Writer Gerry Duggan and artists Matteo Lolli and Phil Noto are the original writer and artists behind Maraudersand while they set up questions behind Kate Pryde and her access to Krakoa that have remained unanswered, the preview for one of their last issues could give fans some clarity.

In the preview for Marauders#27 posted by Multiversity Comics, Kate is speaking with Forge about the mystery regarding her inability to use Krakoan Portals. In the preview, Forge states that he doesn’t know why the portals don’t work on Kate, only speaking to the perplexity of the situation. Forge comments on Kate’s mutant ability to phase through any object she encounters, saying, “you’ve disrupted every technology you’ve encountered, until this one – which has disrupted you”.
After Forge makes that statement, the preview ends leaving
