The sequel to The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners VR game is going to be arriving sooner than fans of the original might have expected. The Meta Quest 2 and Rift game was announced in January, now it appears it’s going to be arriving sometime this year.
The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners launched in 2020 and allowed players to traverse the landscape of New Orleans after a zombie apocalypse wiped out most of humanity. The game offered a combination of hacking and slashing through zombie hordes with survival game aspects as well as users could pick up weapons and items in order to try and survive another night in that world.

Saints and Sinners 2 was part of the Meta Quest Showcase and debuted a brand-new trailer that shows off some new settings, some new weapons, and a confirmed release window later this year, if not an actual official release date. It appears the new game will also tie into the original, which makes sense since The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners 2 picks up right about where the first left off.
The upcoming Quest 2 and Rift game’s trailer shows that the players will once again step into the shoes of the character known only as “The Tourist.” Wading through wave after wave of Walkers in order to try and escape the French Quarter of New Orleans. The sequel will offer new weapons to use in order to try and take out the hundreds of undead coming to eat The Tourist and the other survivors who have managed to live through the world ending.
Saints and Sinners 2 is also going to do more than just pick up where the first game’s story left off. Decisions that players made as The Tourist will impact how this new title plays out. There will
