While it is on an upward trajectory, AEW still has a while to go before it can claim to evenly compete with the juggernaut that is WWE. However, considering the performance and reception of the WWE 2K games of late, All Elite Wrestling has a chance to beat the competition when it comes to its own video game. While not much has been revealed about it since the announcement, its official name might have been leaked.
Much like sports games and its contemporary, the AEW game will also feature crowd sounds, pops, and chants. To make them feel authentic, AEW president and CEO, Tony Khan came out to speak to the audience after the AEW Dynamite / Rampage live show last Wednesday in Pittsburg and asked them to perform a few chants which would then be featured in the game.

Guided by ring announcer Justin Roberts, the crowd apparently chanted things like “Sting”, “Adam Page,” “Bay Bay,” “Dax, “Cash”, “Boom” and “FTR”. After the audience was done, and Khan got his fill of chants, he reportedly told the audience that it would feature in AEW: Fight Forever. This news was courtesy of wrestling website NoDQ.com, GamesBeat reviews editor Mike Minotti, and a whole bunch of other Twitter handles (thanks, VGC.) However, it isn't confirmed whether Fight Forever is the mainline AEW game or another project of some kind. No release date for it has been announced either.
