HBO'sThe Time Traveler's Wife is ending after one season. The six-part series follows the intricate yet complicated love story between Clare (Rose Leslie) and Henry (Theo James) whose marriage faces a big problem: time travel. Although it was unclear whether The Time Traveler's Wifewould be a limited series, the first season seemed to set up the need for a second. The season finale only ended about halfway through Clare and Henry's story: on their wedding day. The finale even referenced their future together, pointing to their stessful attempts to have children, and showing Henry talking on the phone to what the audience can assume is the character from the book, Dr. David Kendrick, a scientist that helps Henry's condition. It looks like viewers will never have a chance to meet him, or the daughter Clare and Henry eventually have together, Alba.
