My morning Protein Smoothie is usually always >
1 1/2 Scoops of Grass Fed Whey Isolate Protein — (40g of protein) 1 cup of frozen mixed berries (straw, blue, ras & black) 1/2 cup of frozen Mangos 3 TBS of Organic Cacao nibs 1 TBS 100% extra Virgin Olive oil 2 Cups of water Spinach, depending
The Cacao nibs BTW are mood enhancing since they boost your seratonin, they call it the 'bliss molecule', plus there's at least 36mg of caffeign in 3 TBS, which will give you a bit of an energetic kick to get your day going. They're also packed full of Anti oxidents, magnesium, they're good for your heart etc. They're my secret healthy weapon to get my morning going.
I'll sometimes have vegetarian days too and usually only have red meat in moderation, but i stack up on poultry, ground chicken, fish like Mackerels, fresh salmon(etc),eggs, certain nuts & seeds. Although i don't eat a lot of grains or legumes, and only drink milk occasionally. Plus I'll have a cheat meal maybe a couple of times a week, depending. I'm not as strict as I used to be, it can be stressful eating clean 95% of the time, so i made it 85% instead. lol
