The CW president Mark Pedowitz discusses if The Flash season 10 and beyond will happen after the show's upcoming season 9 in 2023. The Arrowverse had a bit of a shake-up this year as 2022 came with some shocking cancellations for the long-running franchise. Since the inception of the franchise in 2012, the Arrowverse has been a significant hit for The CW, bringing multiple heroes and villains from the DC Universe to the screen. The Grant Gustin-led drama will officially become the Arrowverse's longest-running series, surpassing Arrow's 170-episode run. The Flash will also joinSuperman & Lois season 3 and the upcoming DC TV show Gotham Knights, which will be a standalone drama outside of the Arrowverse. While The Flash has another season, there has been a lot of chatter lately about whether or not the DC adventure will come to an end after season 9.
