Google recently decided to deprecate Stadia, leaving thousands of players in the lurch with a now useless peripheral. Well, that could soon be changing. The company is apparently examining the possibility of unlocking the Stadia controller, allowing owners to freely make use of their device. “We have received many requests about making the Stadia controller work on Bluetooth or other features that can make Stadia workable after the full shut down,” someone on the Stadia team tried to reassure a worried consumer. “I will send this feedback to our team so that they can check out and possibly release a firmware to make it work.”
This definitely has been a long time coming, but someone finally seems to have jailbroken the PS5, allowing a variety of different games to be launched including the classic PT. The news comes from the modder Lance McDonald who posted about this little feat of software engineering on Twitter, adding a video showing the interface of a jailbroken PS5, something which gives access to a debug menu and allows PKG files to be downloaded from a PS4. In the video, McDonald can be seen downloading the PKG file for PT, a game which is currently no longer available.
