Crystalline Conflict is a new PVP mode in that has attracted many players for its addicting gameplay and also for the fact that the battles are very fast-paced. There are casual and ranked matches and plenty of rewards available via Trophy Crystals and Framer Kits. However, there is plenty of strategy to the Crystalline Conflict mode as well. While it may seem simple, there is a lot to learn.

While the Crystalline Conflict is PVP, the goal should never be just wailing on other players. The goal is about moving the crystal and the players that forget this are bound to lose. Players should always either be pushing the crystal or working to make an opportunity for their teammates to push it. Some teams will try to distract other players from the crystal, and that's a winning strategy if players take the bait.
No matter what job a player has, they have the abilities Guard, Purify, and Recuperate. These are very important and are key to surviving longer. Recuperate heals the player by 15,000 HP up to four times when they are at full MP. Of all the PVP abilities, it will likely be used the most. Purify is basically Esuna, and should be used when piled with status afflictions. Guard is also very important and is best used when out of Recuperate heals and under the crystal.
