Warning! Spoilers ahead for Detective Comics #1056
In the latest issue of Batman'sDetective Comics series, the newest gathering of the Bat-Family presents a perfect crossover for the DECU. While Gotham decided to build a bigger and better facility after Arkham Asylum was destroyed, the new Arkham Tower has been a colossal disaster. Thankfully, the Bat-Family is prepared to spring into action when the tower falls into chaos, coming together in cinematic fashion.
In previous issues of Detective Comics, the saga of Arkham Tower has been unfolding in the current storyline entitled «Shadows of the Bat.» While the Tower's Doctor Wear had been claiming impressive cures and treatments with signs that inmates are actually being rehabilitated, the Bat-Family begins to find signs that things are not what they seem. As such, it is eventually revealed that the inmates' emotions are simply being manipulated in secret by the Psycho-Pirate, augmenting their emotions to keep them happy and calm. However, as soon as he is forced to sleep or loses focus, it becomes apparent that Arkham Tower is on the edge of falling apart. Naturally, it is only a matter of time before Psycho-Pirate is unable to contain the inevitable prison riot.

Now, Detective Comics #1056 from Mariko Tamaki and Amancay Nahuelpan sees the Bat-Family coming together to stop the new Arkham crisis, which has featured the likes of Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow following his defeat during Fear State.
