The universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender will be expanding through the release of a trilogy of animated movies, but none of them will center around Avatar Kyoshi. When the trilogy was originally announced, it was speculated that the first movie would be about Kyoshi. However, it's official that the first movie will be about Aang.
