The next game from Bethesda studios’ Tango Gameworks could be revealed soon, it’s been claimed.
According to billbil-kun, a leaker who has consistently revealed the contents of PlayStation Plus lineups ahead of official announcements, the game is named Hi-Fi RUSH and will be released in a standard and deluxe edition.
Little is known about the game, but it’s possible that it will be revealed at Xbox and Bethesda’s Developer Direct which will be broadcast on Wednesday, January 25th at 12pm PT/3pm ET/8pm GMT.
Tango Gameworks’ last major project was the PS5 console exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo.
VGC’s Ghostwire: Tokyo review called it a “memorable but flawed horror-action game”, saying its unique setting was let down by repetitive gameplay.
“At times it feels like the game’s incredible art direction, music and visual style deserve a game that’s better mechanically, but when it all comes together, Ghostwire Tokyo is one of the more memorable recent games in the triple-A space, if you can ignore its gameplay stumbles,” we wrote.
Tango Gameworks’ other recent project, a mobile title names Hero Dice, was shut down last year.
Last year, Tango Gameworks founder Shinji Mikami said he wanted the Ghostwire Tokyo developer towork on smaller and non-horror games in the future.

Speaking in an issue of Famitsu – transcribed by VGC – the veteran game developer said that he wanted people to stop associating the studio with a single genre, and that there were plans to make non-horror games in the future.
