Instagram now wants you to take a break! Ahead of Safer Internet Day 2022, Instagram has announced the ‘Take a Break’ feature in India. As the name suggests, the feature allows people to stay informed about the way they are spending their time. It is more akin to the Digital Wellbeing feature found on Android. The feature will be available on iPhones immediately, and will also roll out to Android devices in a few weeks.
The ‘Take a Break’ is a feature that will show up for people automatically after they have been scrolling their feed for a certain amount of time. The app will ask users to take a break from Instagram. Additionally, the app will ask to you to set reminders to take more breaks in the future.

The ‘Take a Break’ reminder adds to Instagram’s vast array of time management tools. The ‘Take a Break’ feature is already available in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
