According to the report, older versions of Microsoft Edge contain a number of system vulnerabilities that allow cybercriminals and hackers to get access to users' devices.
The vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge are triggered by multiple vulnerabilities in the browser's development that allows access to File Manager even when the user is not actively using the browser. Other issues include memory buffer overflow in Edge's Tab Groups and access to the Webstore API when not in use. Cyber invaders and hackers can easily bypass security constraints on a system and cause a denial of service conditions by exploiting these flaws.
The only solution to bypass this high-risk vulnerability is to update your browser to the latest Microsoft Edge Stable Channel (Version 98.0.1108.55).
