Three more titles have been added to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis library on Nintendo Switch Online.
The newest additions to the service, which are shown in the trailer below, are Alisia Dragoon, Beyond Oasis and Earthworm Jim.
Alisia Dragoon is a 1992 platform game developed by Game Arts for the Sega Genesis. Despite being a critical success and a cult classic, it wasn’t a commercial success. It was later included in the 2019 Sega Genesis Mini.

Beyond Oasis, which was released in Europe and Japan as The Story of Thor, is an action-adventure game developed by Ancient. The game has been re-released many times, including on the Virtual Console, Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection and Sega Forever.
Earthworm Jim was released in 1994 and was developed by Shiny Entertainment. A run-and-gun platformer, the game would spawn many sequels and has been ported to multiple consoles. A remake was released in 2009 for mobile, Nintendo DS and home console. However, due to licensing issues, this version was removed from storefronts in 2018.
The Switch Online Expansion Pack adds Mega Drive and N64 games to the existing NES and SNES libraries available as part of the standard membership tier.
Players can also buy a separate Mega Drive controller that connects to the Switch for a more faithful recreation.
Earlier this week, Nintendo confirmed nine more N64 games for the Switch Online service.
They include GoldenEye 007, which is “coming soon” and features online play.
