Superman's Secret Reveal Sets Up A Major Jordan & Sarah Change
Warning: Spoilers for Superman & Lois season 2, episode 11
Clark’s decision to reveal his secret to Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) in Superman & Lois sets up a major change to Jordan’s romance with Sarah (Inde Navarrette). The love story between Clark’s super-powered son and Lana’s daughter seemingly came to a screeching halt when Sarah became fed up with Jordan’s disappearing act and constant secrecy. However, the door is now open for their storyline to move in a completely different direction.
Sarah nearly found out the truth about Jordan and Clark in Superman & Lois season 2, episode 11, titled “Truth and Consequences”. Without realizing its contents, Sarah rejected a letter from Jordan. In defiance of his parents’ strict rules about Superman’s identity, Jordan had disclosed his father’s secret in the letter. But while Sarah missed her chance to know the truth, another member of the Cushing family ended up being brought into the Kents’ confidence. After having to rescue Lana from Bizarro Jonathan (Jordan Elsass), Clark decided to finally tell her who he really is. Lana knowing the truth at last makes it possible for her character to have a bigger role in Superman’s stories going forward.

Lana’s place in the show is far from the only thing that’ll be impacted by Superman’s secret reveal. The decision has already created the setup for Sarah to find out as well. Since her mother knows who Clark is now, she could be the next one to be told. Lana may not want her daughter to be kept in the dark, especially given her proximity to the Kents.
