Summer House: Lindsay Hubbard Opens Up About Drinking While Dating Carl
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lindsay Hubbard reveals she's cut down on alcohol since dating fellowSummer House star Carl Radke. Carl has been sober since early 2021 and in season 6, it's apparent that he's happier and healthier than ever before. However, it can't be easy, given that the entire premise of their show is that they party all summer long, his now-girlfriend Lindsay included.
Lindsay and Carl have dated before, back in season 4, but the relationship just wasn't working, in some part due to the explosive, alcohol-induced fights they had onscreen. In January 2022, the couple announced they were giving their romance another try, and they both have spoken highly of their relationship during appearances on WWHL. Carl specifically noted that he thinks he's in a better place since getting sober and is, therefore, able to be a good partner to Lindsay. Carl choked up when he called Lindsay his girlfriend and gushed about how much they enjoy each other. They also support one another through hard times, which Lindsay talked about when she was grilled by Andy about her relationship.

Just weeks after Carl's appearance on the show, Lindsay stopped by Watch What Happens Live to rehash the latest Summer House news. After telling Andy that she really feels Carl is a new man in his sobriety, Lindsay added that she also hasn't had a sip of alcohol in two months, merely out of solidarity with her new boyfriend. She added that she thinks in the past, her alcohol consumption adversely affected her relationships, and this way, things are just smoother between the two of them.
