Runners, start your engines: Summer Games Done Quick is returning in June. Over the weekend, Games Done Quick released the schedule for SGDQ 2022, which is closing out with not just one, but two Elden Ring speedruns. If you’ve been dying (again and again) to see how such a tough game is beaten quick, you’ll get your chance next month. You’ll get two, surprisingly.
It all cracks off on June 26 at 11:30 AM ET. Unlike shows from the last couple of years, SGDQ 2022 is scheduled to be live and in person in Bloomington, MN. It’ll be the first live event since AGDQ 2020, months before Covid sent everyone into lockdown. There are some rules, naturally. All attendees need to have proof of vaccination, and are required to wear a KN95, N95,
