Remember at the end of March when we told you that Streets of Rage 4 was coming to Android in May? Of course you do, it was probably the best day of the year. Or at least it was until today, because Streets of Rage 4 is out now on the Play Store.
The game is a modern sequel for Sega’s punchy-kicky classics and sees you brawling your way through a whole host of enemies as you try and make the streets a little less filled with rage.
There are 5 different characters to collect and fight with, as well as retro characters, and a bunch of options when it comes to the graphics and the sound. Oh, and you can use a controller as well if you fancy. Shall we watch a trailer? Yeah, let’s watch a trailer.
Streets of Rage 4 has been out on a bunch of other platforms for a while now and it’s won a whole bunch of awards during that time. So you know it’s gonna be pretty good. Or at the very least quite good.
There are 12 stages to fight through, and different modes that let you smack things in slightly different ways. The game doesn’t have multiplayer at launch, but it’s coming in some free DLC in the not-too-distant future.
And, perhaps best of all, it’s a premium game. From now until May 29th you can pick it up for 10% off its usual price as well. If you’d like to give Streets of Rage 4 a go, you can click here to download it from the Play Store right this second.
