Now, Quinn is ready to talk about his character's fate and the response he's received from fans.
In what is arguably one of the fan's most favorite scenes of Stranger Things season 4, Eddie gets his very own music video in the Upside Down while trying to distract the «demo-bats.» He stands on top of his trailer and shreds Metallica's «Master of Puppets» on his V-shaped guitar. Many fans agree that this scene perfectly encapsulates who Eddie Munson is as a person and makes the season finale all that much more exciting.

Now, following the release of volume two, Quinn opened up about his experience on the show during an interview with the Los Angeles Times, discussing what it was like to die a hero's death. «I remember Skyping with the brothers before I signed on, and they weren't giving away very much,» Quinn said of his knowledge of Eddie's fate in the Stranger Things season 4 finale. «They sent me a couple emails asking if I played guitar and I said yes I did. Then they sent the script over and I kind of imploded and went to go buy a guitar as soon as I could and started practicing.» Quinn said of the musical scene.«It's insane. It's doing so many things. I think this is the only world in which something like that can happen and it doesn't feel like a pastiche. It doesn't feel forced. And hilariously, it doesn't feel melodramatic. It just feels right. And more than anything, it just feels fun. It's that energy through that whole kind of ridiculous sequence
