A newly posted fan poster for Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story shows the Death Star blowing a hole in a planet, showing off the full power of the iconic weapon. The Death Star returned to prominence in Star Wars lore in Rogue One, which debuted in December 2016. The film chronicled the mission to steal the Death Star plans and expose its weakness.
Rogue One arguably gave fans the closest look at the Death Star in Star Wars history. The film followed Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), and a rogue band of rebels on a suicide mission to get the Death Star’s plans (along with intel on its one weakness) to the rest of the Rebels. Along the way, audiences got to witness the finalization of the space station, as its kyber crystal-powered laser was used to blow massive holes in the surfaces of multiple planets throughout the course of the movie.

Now, with over five years of hindsight since Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuted, it seems that fan enthusiasm for the movie is still going strong. In fact, content creator Jordan Geiger recently took to Instagram to share a fan poster showcasing the devastating effects of the Death Star. Check out Geiger's poster below:
