Warning! Contains a preview for Edge of Spider-Verse #1
In a new preview for Marvel's Edge of Spider-Verse, it looks as though Spider-Man wants to get in on all the dinosaur awesomeness DC's Justice League has already been enjoying. In what's become a staple of multiversal comic stories, there's always a reality where dinosaurs still reign supreme as sentient counterparts to classic superheroes. To that end, Marvel is teasing a world where Peter Parker is a spider-themed Tyrannosaurus Rex.
In what's likely a fun coincidence, DC is currently publishing Jurassic League, a miniseries from Juan Gedeon and Daniel Warren Johnson where Earth's classic heroes such as Batman and Superman are instead the Batsaur and Supersaur. Forming their own prehistoric team of heroes to fight the Stegosaur version of Darkseid, Jurassic League is an epically ridiculous dino-themed adventure. Now, it looks as though Marvel Comics is following suit in their upcoming Spider-Verse event.

As seen in a new preview for Edge of Spider-Verse #1, one of the featured short stories from Karla Pacheco and Pere Peréz is fittingly titled «Spider-Rex!!!». Featuring a red and blue Tyrannosaur with white eyes to match Spider-Man's iconic mask, it looks as though «Pter Ptarker» is fighting his own savage version of the Green Goblin in this new story. Here are the preview pages and synopsis (which tease other exciting spider-heroes as well):
