Rogers also goes on to state that Sony is planning a «significant ramp-up» in PS5 console production, which will, hopefully, be able to deliver the console to more homes and families during this year's holiday season. In a recent report, Sony has also come out to say that «PS5 (during its first full financial year) took 82 minutes to sell 80,000 consoles, while it took nine days for PlayStation 4 over a comparable period,» and if that is any indication about how the console will fare in the years to come, it seems that the PS5 has a bright future.
