Sony recently pulled the curtain back on the free PlayStation Plus games that subscribers can claim for July 2022, which consists of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and day one game Arcadegeddon. These are the three games that the majority of PlayStation Plus subscribers will get to claim for July 2022, but some subscribers are getting an extra free game next month.
PS Plus subscribers in Asian territories are getting four free games for July 2022 instead of just the three that are being given away to everyone else. Along with Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon, PlayStation Plus subscribers in Asia can also add Zero Strain to their collection. Both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Zero Strain will be available to PS Plus subscribers in Asian territories come July 5.

Zero Strain is a top-down shooter game that first released in 2019. It earned some praise for its fast-paced action, but otherwise failed to make all that much of an impact on the industry. Even so, some PlayStation Plus subscribers may be disappointed that they will be missing out on it. After all, it essentially means that some PS Plus subscribers are getting less value from their subscription than those in other regions.
This is far from the first time that one region has been given an extra free PS Plus game, and it's unlikely to be the last time this occurs either.
