Solos, an Amazon Original series, features a star-studded cast in a unique format. In each episode of the anthology series, the show explores what it means to be human in isolated moments in an uncertain future. Set at various points in the future, each story brings a sci-fi twist to the characters’ familiar human problems.
Each episode focuses on a different character, and most featured actors perform by themselves on camera, backed up by only a voice cast. Certain episodes also show multiple characters played by the same actor, allowing the cast to perform with only themselves. By the end of Solos, the characters connect in an unexpected way.

With every episode taking place in a single, stationary setting, the performances take on a theatrical quality that showcases the talent of the cast. Solos relies upon many well-known performers to deliver its heartfelt meaning.
Anne Hathaway plays Leah, a physicist trying to contact the future. Hathaway is a household name, known for portraying Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries, Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, Fantine in Les Miserables, and Andy in The Devil Wears Prada.
Anthony Mackie plays Tom, a man meeting someone identical to him. Mackie is best known for his role as Sam Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most recently in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, season 2 of Altered Carbon, and The Hurt Locker.
