Die-hard fans of Frank Miller's Sin City can now jump over to Amazon's Prime Day deal on the Deluxe Edition that slashes the graphic novel's price in half. The first issue of Sin City, at the time serialized across a 13-issue run, was released in late spring 1991 as an inclusion in the Dark Horse Presents Fifth Anniversary Special. The series itself proceeded to run until the beginning of summer 1992.
The landmark noir series has returned to prominence lately, with even Miller revisiting the world of Sin City recently. The film noir-infused storytelling within pulpy storytelling was enough to win over fans and critics alike in a quick fashion, winning multiple Eisner Awards in the process. Long before even the 2005 movie adaptation that Frank Miller himself directed alongside Robert Rodriguez (as well as the 2014 follow-up, A Dame to Kill For), the graphic novel was considered an instant classic. As such, the success of the graphic novel has prompted multiple re-releases ofSin City under multiple new editions.
