If a player wants the Armorer to perform this sort of smelting for them, they will need to track him down, though they may be unclear about exactly where they should look. Fortunately, it is not extremely difficult to find the Armorer in Shovel Knight Dig, though fans will need to make a bit of progress first.
In order to find the Armorer, players must reach the Smeltworks biome in Shovel Knight Dig. This biome is accessed by beating Spore Knight two times, and roguelite fans will encounter this boss after completing the third floor of Mushroom Mines. To note, players will unlock the Secret Fountain biome the first time that they dispatch the Spore Knight, which may cause them to miss Smeltworks and the Armorer.

Once a fan reaches Smeltworks, they should explore the biome thoroughly, looking carefully for any indication of a hidden room. Typically, this indication will take the form of cracks in a wall, though players may see a smithing hammer stuck in a wall when searching for the Armorer. When a fan of hard video games does find one of these types of markings, they should hit it, use the revealed path to enter the hidden room, dispatch the enemies that are inside, and speak with the Armorer to send him back to Hoofman's shop.
