Wordle is back today with a new five-letter word. While it is a fairly common and simple word, it may trip some players up and have them out looking for clues or even the full answer to the puzzle.
Wordle is a browser game that is simple to learn but hard to master. This game pits players against a mystery five-letter word once a day with no starting hints. In order to play, word puzzle fans will first have to learn the rules of the game.

First, players need to head to the right site. The original version of Wordle and the subject of this article is the New York Times Games version. Players can either head to the NYT Games site to play, or they can now play Wordle though the New York Times Crossword app as well. Because Wordle was so popular, there are many copycats out there; the clones will most likely have different answers and could have slightly different rules.
Next, choose a good starting word. It should be five-letters long and a real English word. Type it into the site and press enter; this will make the letters of the chosen word change colors.
Given these clues, players have six total tries to get to the answer of the day. There is only one word for everyone; puzzles reset at midnight local time. This is the reason why Wordle has a spoiler-free share button on its menu; this just copies the colors of the board rather than the guesses.
Although today's word is a little challenging, it is certainly not one of the worst Wordle word answers. Players might need just a hint or two to help them get to the answer without giving the whole thing away.
