Sam & Max Remasters Are Coming to PlayStation

Skunkape Games has announced that the remasters that have been released over the last two years will be coming to PlayStation consoles in September.

Set to debut simultaneously on the PS4 and PS5 on September 29, this new release marks the first time that  (also known as ) will release on a PlayStation system.

 and, previously known as and , were originally released episodically. These remasters boast higher resolution graphics, improved lip sync, dynamic new lighting, remastered audio, and general QOL updates.

“Sam & Max, the self-proclaimed Freelance Police, are a dog and rabbity-thing team who fight crime … sort of,” reads the series’ synopsis. “Sam is a six-foot-dog in a suit with a nose for justice (just don’t call him McGruff, or he might bite you). Max is a hyperkinetic lagomorph with no internal filter and an insatiable hunger for chaos. Together they save the world — sometimes on purpose — in the weirdest, silliest ways possible.”
