The Real Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin claimed her former co-star Dorinda Medley could be a troublesome variable in Bravo's upcoming spin-off series The Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy. Jill first appeared in RHONY season 1. Jill left the show after season 4 and returned as a guest from season 9 until season 12. Dorinda first appeared in RHONY season 4 as a guest and joined the main cast inseason 7. Circumstances surrounding the exits of both Dorinda and Jill have been a controversial topic among The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 2 cast members.
When Dorinda and Jill first appeared on screen together in RHONY season 4, the two got along. Things took a turn after Jill left the show, and it was suggested by fans and co-stars that she was desperate to return. During RHUGT season 2, the tension between Jill and Dorinda came to a head as Dorinda flaunted the fact that while Jill was eventually fired from RHONY, she on the other hand had simply been placed «on pause.» During the feud, Dorinda referred to Jill as being «thirsty,» believing that Jill had falsely taken credit for Dorinda's appearance on the series. When asked to identify the «thirstiest» housewife in an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Dorinda was quick to respond that she believed Jill is, in fact, the «thirstiest.»
