In DC Comics, the Bat-Family member known as Red Hood is a brutal hero that uses questionable tactics to exact justice, and when turned into an undead Black Lanternin an epic new cosplay, he becomes even more deadly!
Jason Todd has always had a particularly iconic costume in comics, and now getting a Black Lantern upgrade ensures he stays at the top of his fashion game. Acting as the second Robin in a long and continuing line of them, Jason Todd was always the odd one out both in terms of his short-lived career as Robin and his original controversial standing with fans. More violent, headstrong, and rough around the edges compared to Batman’s other sidekicks, Jason was killed off at the hands of the Joker only to be resurrected decades down the line as the anti-hero known as Red Hood; a part of Jason’s history that this specific cosplay leans into well.

Featured in the Green Lantern event titled Blackest Night, the Black Lanterns are an army of deceased DC heroes that come back from the dead with a vengeance. Powered by death and decay, these Lanterns are a bloodthirsty batch of baddies that line up well with Red Hood’s more ruthless tendencies, and Reddit user March-Scary nails the cosplay mash-up perfectly.
