At a time when most smartphone companies like Apple, Samsung, and Oppo, among others, are opting for a flat screen for their phones under the mid-range segment, Realme with its 10 Pro+ 5G comes with a curved display and that too under Rs. 26000. Curved display is nothing new, however, it is mostly being offered in the premium phones like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, among others. Realme has also tried to grab eyeballs by offering the 10+ Pro 5G a shimmery and attractive design along with several other exciting features. With so much already said, here are my first impressions of this beautiful-looking feature-rich smartphone.
Being a mid-range segment phone, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G comes with an attractive design which is termed as "Hyperspace" design by the company. You will also be able to see the prism acceleration pattern on the phone. To house the lenses, Realme has opted for the classic twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera design on the back, which adds to its beauty. The Realme 10 Pro+ is light (173 g) and thin (7.78 mm) making it very comfortable to hold and use. However, the back panel does attract smudges and finger impressions.
The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G brings a curved display to the masses at an affordable rate. The device holds a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with amazingly slim bezels (2.33mm narrow chin bezel) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. I have been using the device for a week now and the experience has been fun. The display is smooth and feels flawless while scrolling.
