Whether you are looking for the PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 5 Digital, it remains an extreme challenge to purchase the console for retail price. It's been a quiet couple of weeks for PS5 restocks, though we did see restocks at Walmart and GameStop recently. Also, PlayStation Direct sometimes has invite-only PS5 restocks. One of your best bets to get a console is to make sure you're registered for restock emails via PS Direct--you could wind up getting an opportunity to purchase the PS5 by invitation. Up until the last few weeks, it was normal to see a few restocks each week at retailers such as Best Buy and GameStop. Hopefully PS5 restocks will start picking up again soon at major retailers.
