"I stopped working with my [personal trailer] - I love him - but when all the JiDion online hate stuff happened, bruh," Pokimane said. "I low-key fell into a depression. I can laugh about it now but for the last two months, I've been counting my steps, but the way my steps perfectly represent my mental health is [wild]."
In January, Pokimane was the victim of hate raids incited by JiDion who was permanently banned for his misogynistic comments and actions. The following month has been a rollercoaster of back and forths with other internet personalities like Ninja voicing support for JiDion while JiDion himself apologised and asked his fans to stop harassing her.

The two are even working on a project together which was revealed in a picture JiDion shared of himself and Poki eating burgers with the caption, "Ask me and Poki questions". But while the two are trying to move on from the drama, amidst JiDion's ban, and with Twitch's misogynistic culture being called into question, Pokimane has been dealing with worsened depression, an unsurprising result of being bombarded with toxicity thanks to another creator.
It likely hasn't helped that JiDion's fans are still harassing Pokimane even after he told them to stop - once the bottle was opened, there was no putting the cap back on. Not entirely, at least. And women on Twitch already undergo a slew of hate, usually targeting their looks, calling into question their success.
But in spite of this bout of harassment and the toll it took on Pokimane's mental health, she's sticking around with Twitch, having recently re-signed her exclusivity contract. As for the collaboration with JiDion, he said
