Nintendo and Game Freak released the first Pokemon titles way back in 1996, and since then, fans have grown older, but many have maintained their favorite Pokemon out of the original 151 in the lineup. One Pokemon fan recently shared a video detailing the process of making a Charmander rug.
Reddit user Rugsbyohm is fresh to the platform with an account that dates back only two days, but they've already garnered the attention of the Pokemon community with their Charmander rug. Charmander has long been a favorite Pokemon of some players since being a starter in Pokemon Red and Blue, and later FireRed and LeafGreen on the Game Boy Advance in 2004. Rugsbyohm may be showing their fondness for the Fire-type Pokemon, given that their first Nintendo-related rug revolves around the fire lizard.

Rugsbyohm's clip begins with the rug maker having already started Charmander's eyes, mouth, and nostrils, with the board being used to hold the rug facing the camera so that every change would be picked up. The Pokemon fan quickly proceeds to outline the rest of Charmander in a time-lapse, starting with the head and arms before forming one leg, the tail, and finishing with the other leg. Before getting into the primary colors used to fill in the Charmander rug, Rugsbyohm uses white to highlight its claws and combines white with blue in the eyes to reflect the Pokemon's character.
