Copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus have leaked online and dataminers have uncovered all of the character sprites in the game, revealing all of the Hisuian variants and new evolutions that will appear in the game ahead of its January 28 release. Pokémon Legends: Arceus will feature new variants of Pokémon that reside in the Hisui region, which is an ancient version of the Sinnoh region.
The following article contains spoilers for Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus involves exploring the Hisui region, which is a wild and untamed frontier, especially compared to the idyllic settings of the other Pokémon games. The harsh environment has led to some Pokémon having vastly different forms in this time period. These include Pokémon's Hisuian Zorua line, which are Normal/Ghost-type Pokémon, formed as a result of being wiped out after migration. There is also Kleavor, the Hisuian evolution of Scyther, which has a body composed of rocks, unlike the sleek and modern metallic body of Scizor in the Pokémon Gold and Silver era. The Pokémon Company has gradually been announcing these new Pokémon in trailers over the past few months.
