In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players can find and catch a Gligar and evolve it into Gliscor, but evolving Gligar in Legends: Arceus requires a slightly different method. In previous games, players could evolve Gligar into Gliscor by giving the Pokémon a Razor Fang to hold and level it up at night. Once a Gligar holding the Razor Fang leveled up at night, the Pokémon would immediately begin evolving into Gliscor. Since Pokémon in Legends: Arceus cannot hold any items, Gligar's evolution method has changed, and fortunately it has changed for the better.
While players can find and catch Gligar in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as well as Gliscor, they'll need to evolve Gligar at least once in order to complete its research tasks in the Pokédex. Pokémon Legends: Arceus still requires players to use a Razor Fang to evolve Gligar, and the evolution still needs to take place at night. Luckily, finding a Razor Fang in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is easier now than it has ever been in a Pokémon game.
