April 2022 has its own set of Spotlight Hours in Pokémon Go. Taking advantage of these Spotlight Hours can help trainers get tons of XP, candy, and Stardust. Every week, a new Pokémon is a headliner for the Spotlight Hour. This Pokémon will have its spawn rate drastically increased during this hour, making it nearly impossible to find another Pokémon within that time period. Not only does this Pokémon appear more, but the game will have an active bonus during the hour. Most of the time, trainers might already have the Pokémon featured in that Spotlight Hour. These are more important for harvesting resources than anything.
In April, the Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. In the month of March, trainers were treated to five different Spotlight Hours since March had five different Tuesdays. The Pokémon that were featured were Bubone, Exeggcute, Growlithe, Sudowoodo, and Paras. Trainers who are lucky enough might even find a Shiny version of the Pokémon during the Spotlight Hour. Of course, the Shiny odds aren't changed like they are for Community Day, but more Pokémon spawning, in general, is better for encountering a Shiny one.

April will have four different Spotlight Hours for April 2022. The Pokémon that will be celebrated are Stunky, Bunnelby, Oddish, and Cherrim. While it is currently the Season of Alola in Pokémon Go, no Pokémon from the Alola region will be featured. Each day will have its own bonus to coincide with the Pokémon.
